Omar Martinez, Extension Program Specialist with Texas A&M AgriLife, is a passionate and experienced research and professional beekeeper with over 25 years in the field of apiculture. I bring a strong hands-on background in all aspects of beekeeping, including colony management, queen rearing, honey production, seasonal management, swarm control, disease and pest monitoring, and instrumental insemination. My practical knowledge has been shaped by working with a wide range of beekeeping systems in Brazil, New Zealand, United States, and Colombia, giving me the ability to adapt to diverse environments and production goals.
