Gene has been a beekeeper for 13 years. What originally started out as a tax valuation endeavor has now become a sincere love of the Honeybee and all it does for Nature. He has always used essential oils as his primary method of controlling mites, small hive beetles and wax moths. He regularly presents to Texas Bee Clubs on the use and application of essential oils to control colony pest and disease. He and his wife Nancy live an hour north of Dallas and produce honey, pollen, and bees for sale under the name of Zwei Menschen Honey Haus.
